This photo doesn't really need much of an introduction, it was shot from the rooftop of my apartment building. I have many, many photos of the various views from up there and from inside my apartment window, and somehow never get tired of it. I love the beauty of the city in the evening. I only wish I had a wide angle lens that could capture the entire scene.

  1. I am so jealous of your view!!!!! :D
have you tried stitching at least 4 photos together? if not, make sure you're in Manual mode so you have the same aperture, shutter speed and ISO
best stitching software i know is Autopano Giga... does a great job always

  2. I would like to try that, but would I need the camera mounted on a tripod? Because the only way I can get this picture is by leaning slightly over the edge of the building, otherwise I think the ledge might be too high for my tripod. Not sure. Need to check it out, that would make for a much cooler photo!

  3. you wont need a tripod... something like this:

    not the prettiest example :P

as long as you take enough photos, just make sure they overlap so you don't have those empty gaps
